CALL FOR PAPER SUBMISSIONS | SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Authority for Information on the Former State Security Documents invites researchers, historians, lecturers, advanced-level students, and all interested individuals to submit their papers for the symposium:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Border of Hope and Death 1944\u20131991 \u2013 Shkodra Facing the Past\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The papers should address topics related to the border policies of the communist regime, cases of escape attempts, punishment and repression in border areas\u2014particularly in the Shkod\u00ebr region\u2014as well as collective memory and the documentation of this dramatic period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
