Causes and mistakes of Albanian escapes during the years 1944-1990;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Profiles of individuals who managed to escape and those who were stopped or killed at the border in the regions of Kor\u00e7\u00eb, Ersek\u00eb, and Pogradec;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mapping the routes of border areas and borders as means of political and social control;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Statistics of those stopped, killed at the border, and individuals who managed to escape in the regions of Kor\u00e7\u00eb, Ersek\u00eb, and Pogradec;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Study of the legal framework for border management and the regime of border guards;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The reaction of the Albanian communist state towards persons who attempted to escape and their relatives;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Difficulties faced by the families of escapees and their relatives before and during the communist regime;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Remembrance of freedom martyrs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Justice for victims of escapes from the border;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Memory and testimonies of escapees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The proposal should be in the form of an abstract, no more than 300 words, and must be submitted by July 31, 2024, to the email address: info@autoritetidosjeve.gov.al<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants will be notified of their selection no later than August 9, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference will take place on August 27-28, 2024, in Pogradec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
