Organized by AIDSSH and the International Commission on Missing Persons, in cooperation with the Municipality of Tepelena, at the conclusion of the ICMP-AIDSSH project. “Increasing public awareness of transitional justice and reconciliation: “The Missing during Communism”, supported by the EU and the Swiss Embassy. It was prepared using research materials from the Institute of History and archival data on those interned in the barbed-wire camp of Tepelena. Also included are valuable sketches depicting camp life in photographic form, skillfully created by Lek Pervizi, who was interned in Tepelena. The information was presented in both Albanian and English for all visitors to the camp.

The exhibition was prepared based on research of archival data concerning prisoners in the labor camp of Orman-Pojan, Vloçisht.
AIDSHH presented the book of testimonies about the missing persons and the virtual exhibition “The State Security in Its Own Words,” at the new premises near the Skënderbej garrison on February 24, 2022.
The exhibition was held as part of the project “Profiles of the Past: The Struggle for Freedom and Democracy during the Hoxha Regime,” carried out by the University of Tirana, La Sapienza University of Rome, Fondazione di Storia Onlus, the “Zëri Qytetar” Association, and ISEM.
